Campus dining tickets for the Eastern Kentucky State College cafeteria valued at 10 cents.
Before we used our student ID cards to swipe us into Upper or Lower Case Dining Hall, students used these meal tickets to get into cafeterias around campus. Eastern has provided a variety of cafeteria options to students through the years, including The Grille, once located in Keene Johnson before the addition of the campus bookstore. Through trial and tribulation—mostly from students complaining about the poor quality of food and high prices—Eastern’s cafeterias have changed with the times. Some of our most prominent memories are made over lunch with friends. What are your favorite memories of eating on campus?
