Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, The Blue Man Group, and The Beach Boys:  some of the greatest names in entertainment have performed on this stage. Classic performances like Beauty and the Beast and The Sound of Music have wowed audiences in this venue.  Would you believe all of these events and more have happened on our campus? EKU’s Center for the Arts opened in 2011. It has given people from all over the state a place to watch world-class performances and experience big names in entertainment. The 2,100 seat theater is also used for freshmen opening ceremonies. The Center, now in its 7th year of operations, has become EKU’s home for the arts and a special place for those who enjoy them.
