Campus Living

Campus Living publication, 1971-1972.

EKU has always been known as a “suitcase school.” One of the first dorms was Memorial Hall, which was built as part of Central University, EKU’s precursor. Living on college campus has changed quite a bit through the years. Buildings come and go, and living policies change, too. Dorms were separated by gender until 1986, when women and men were placed in the same dorms, on alternating floors. New dorms have popped up on campus in recent years, but plenty of the old ones still stand. The most notable is Sullivan Hall, the oldest dorm hall on campus.  This publication from the early 1970s gave students information about housing on campus.
