WEKU-FM

WEKU-FM Program

WEKU programming guide for Fall 1968 featuring "Colonel Mike" on the cover.

WEKU hit the airwaves in 1967. It aimed to provide a variety of programs for its listeners, including music (from classical to jazz), and relevant speeches, lectures, and debates. The radio station was opened for EKU’s broadcasting majors, and it still has close ties to EKU today. WEKU is now a National Public Radio (NPR) station, offering many of the same things it’s always provided, such as classical music, world news, and debates. Tune in to them at 88.9 FM.
