MAB-1
Adams Street and North Broadway, Berea
ca. 1917
Built on the site of an earlier hotel, the Lincoln Hotel was advantageously located across from the Berea L&N Railroad Depot. A projecting cornice over the three bays on the first story facade provides a certain amount of horizontality, stressed even more by a second-story entablature with a denticulated cornice. This two-story brick building retains its original internal plan, having many single rooms accessible from the central hall on the second floor. The first floor today functions as a craft store.
