MASW-20
720 West Main Street, Richmond
1890
This two-story house has a traditional T-plan form embellished by a projecting entry bay as well as elaborate millwork. Projecting bays capped by shingled gables dominate the facade. Overhanging eaves are enhanced by supporting scrolled brackets. Delicate ornamental bargeboard, large suspended pendants, and the porch turnings add to the profusion of ornament. Hood molds with detailed saw-toothed design surmount the long, narrow sash windows.
