'l?jcfianf (jaines, officiating �Obituary Anna Mathews Hocker was born on September 30, 1920 to the late Janie Murphy (Mathews) and Augustus Mathews Sr. in Lexington , Kentucky. She was a loyal and faithful member of the Consolidated Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Missionary Board, the Culinary Group and part of the Young at Heart. She served 25 years with the Lexington Blue Grass Army Depot, where she received a certificate of retirement. Preceded in death by husband Walter Lee Hocker; brothers Augustus Mathews Jr. and Robert Murphy; sister Wilma Simms; daughter Johnella (Shackelford) Dunn; granddaughter Talitha (Dunn) Sorrell and grandson Michael Dunn. Survived by her sisters, Luzetta Holman. Pauline Williams and brothers, Harold and Donald Mathews. and Mitchell Murphy; children, Walter Lee Hocker Jr.. Dwayne Hocker; granddaughters, Joyce Dunn, Toni (Dunn) Perry and grandsons.
