S. T. Jerde, Pastor/Officiating �Sister Geneva Turpin was born on April 7, 1924 in Berea, Kentucky, to the late Smith Miller and Amanda Denny. She was the youngest of five children. Sister Geneva Turpin beloved, that is to be lived to the fullest. In her life's journey, she made every effort to inspire, encourage and motivate her family and friends. She was married to the late Dock M. Turpin, who preceded her in death in 1977. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Miller and Edward Denny; and one sister, Gladys Mack. For 27 years, she served as an Instructional Aide with the Cincinnati Board of Education. Through her work, she made many friends, teachers, parents and students. Sister Turpin was a member of the Beams of Heaven Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Rev. S. T. Jerdo. She served on the Mother's Advisory Board. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Rev. Herlin and William Turpin, Sr.; one daughter, Joann Turpin; two grandchildren, Venetta and William Turpin, Jr.; one brother, Sterling Denny of Berea, Kentucky; two daughters-in-law, Dorothy Turpin and Marilyn Turpin; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Denny of Berea, Kentucky and Mary Elizabeth Turpin of Richmond, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Rev.
