Crossing Over
To all my friends and family. God is preparing me for leaving. My
journey is complete, battle clothes are shedding and new garments
are at my feet. I won't tell you not to cry for me, because crying will
help the flesh to cleanse any bad images or feelings of my present

state. But after the tears are over, hold fast to the memories of days
gone by: Family gatherings, dinners, picnics and fellowships. Those
memories are of my life with each of you. God tells us to train up a
child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not
depart. Thank God for His insight and direction for me to give to
you. Our (Mom a·n d Dad) labor has not been in vain. God has a
purpose and challenge for each one of us. Take it head on. Pick up
the torch with pride and carry it on to victory. And in the end you
will hear Him say well done my child, Corne on in.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card
Or sat quietly in a chair
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray
If so we saw it there
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
As any friend could say
Perhaps you were not there at all
Just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts
We thank you so much what-ever the part.
