Description: Hanger Stadium was named for Mr. Arnold hanger who contributed towards its erection. It was built in 1935 and the athletic field was moved from the high ground south of the University Building. The baseball field was moved in 1955 to the south west corner of the college farm and was named the Turkey Hughes Field in 1961
