Image is made from a wood cut. Ted Jones, a printmaker and sculptor, is from Hendersonville, Tennessee. He is Professor of Art at Tennessee State University and at Fisk University. He earned a BA from Xavier University, an MA from Michigan Sate, and an MFA from the University of Montana. He has exhibited in the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, Museum of Science and Industry, Museum of American Art and the Hunter Museum of Art. This piece is part of the EKU art department's Chautauqua Collection, award-winning artworks exhibited as part of the university's Chautauqua lecture series.
