Experiment 7F
Title
Experiment 7F
Description
A painting by Darryl Halbrooks. According to an article about the paintings on page B5 of the October 16, 1986 Eastern Progress, this series of paintings was inspired by illustrations that appeared in Scientific American magazine. A member of the Department of Art Faculty, Darryl Halbrooks gave a group of paintings to the university in 1986. The paintings hung in the Herndon Lounge (in the Powell Building) until c. 2005 when they were taken down (by the building manager?) and stored improperly. Discovering that one of the paintings had been damaged, Halbrooks transported them to the Giles Gallery.
