The papers are arranged chronologically in two areas: The family of Rev. William George McCready and his wife Margaret Anne French McCready, and The family of John Cleveland Bolton and Mary Elizabeth Bennett Bolton. The material has been divided into 17 series representing different or extended branches of the families. The collection focuses on these extended, but inter-connected Kentucky families over several generations including their varied professions (law, business, real estate, home making, and community involvement).
